Screen Printing onto Clay Slabs

I briefly experimented with screen printing an image onto clay slabs during my upper ceramics course. Out of the five slabs I made, only one came out successfully. This process intrigues me, and I plan to continue working on it in the future. This process involved rolling out a slab of clay, adding a layer of white slip to the slab, letting the slab dry, and then printing the image onto the slab of clay with Amaco Velvet Underglaze. After Bisque firing, the plates were glazed and fired to cone 10.
